Had a wonderful stay at the Midtnes, August 17-18 2011. As soon as we arrived my 18 year old jumped off the dock into the chilly waters of the fjord - a ceremonial connection to his Norwegian ancestors - what a great time in Balestrand! |

We fell in love with Balestrand when we visited four years ago. We are bringing friends this time who we are sure will also enjoy the wonderful views, walks,wild flowers and look forward to staying with you in the Midtnes |

Oh, I LOVE it!!!! Hope to come back some fine day. As an artist working along with international artists it would be my dream to have a group show in Balestrand. It has been an artist colony in earlier days hasn´t it!

Het was werkelijk een verblijf met net het tikkeltje meer qua sfeer, verzorgde keuken. Leuk klein stadje, spijtig van het slechte weer. |

Recently came upon your *wonderful* webcam, which looks like it´s just above the room I was in in 1993. I´ve been watching the Midtnes view of the changing seasons, the days lengthening. Even the falling snow is visible! It has taken me right back to one of my favorite places on earth. I have fond memories (and a few great photos) of John painting the back of the main house. Your hotel was my first experience of a heated floor, and was so warm and cozy (in early April). Thank you so much for your welcoming hospitality then, and the webcam now! |

Hallo Balestrand,
wir waren im Sommer 2008, bei Superwetter in Norwegen. In Balestrand ist es wunderschön und romantisch. Den Fjord kann man mit dem Boot gut befahren.
Hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder.

Hallo Ihr Norwegenfans........ich liebe dieses Land und vorallem den Sognefjord bin jeden Morgen eben bei Midtnes auf Web....um zu gucken;allerdings haben wir unser Haus bei Thorsness in Vetlefjord...Danke Papa für alles(31 Jahre Norge). Frank |

Wir haben Sehnsucht nach Norwegen und Balestrand und als Trost blicken wir jeden Tag durch Eure fantastische Webcam, erfreuen uns an der märchenhaften Landschaft und träumen von unserem letzen bzw. nächsten Urlaub.
